These
dogs will live forever in our hearts and memories. We
owe them a debt of love and friendship that we can never
fully repay.
'Red-Dog' Narcotic Detection K-9
'Red' was Gary's K-9 partner for four active years. In
that short time 'Red' had over 70 documented arrests.
Way to go 'Red'!!
'Red' suffered from Epilepsy, but that never slowed him
down on the job. Whenever he heard the patrol car start
'Red' was ready to go. 'Red' was very well liked in the
community. Gary and 'Red' often visited developmentally
challenged children at Lake Hills School. Children that
didn't often speak, immediately warmed up to the sweet
Golden Retriever. With his Epilepsy becoming
increasingly worse, 'Red' retired with his
'Grand-parents' Where he played endlessly with his
favorite tennis ball until the day came when we had to
say goodbye.
